Using
my strategy, High-Velocity Trading, I trade potentially sharp
movements in individual stocks numerous times in a single
day. In order to enter these, I monitor the S&P futures and
trade when my indicators collectively tell me that momentum
is intensifying. Then I exit when momentum weakens. My trades
usually last a few minutes to a few hours. They occur in the
same small handful of stocks day after day.

Many
days, I make numerous trades like these, on both the long
and short side.
The
short duration of my trades, the fast momentum moves I capture,
and the frequency of my trades allow me to make my living
through a relatively short trading day. Usually I am done
for the day within one to two hours. On a highly active day,
I will trade for a maximum of four hours.
Here
Is How You And I Will Be Spending Each Trading Day
In my Trading Room, you potentially have a significant
edge in your trading because you will be hearing
the kind of information that I routinely communicate
to my trading partners who sit a few feet away
from me.
Let me describe what we'll be doing each day and
through an entire week. There are five parts to
my service. In each one you will hear my voice
live in a continuous stream through the Internet.
I.
Pre-market Briefing
Each morning before the market opens, I will brief
you on the stocks I am focusing on and where trading
action is likely to be.
Using my Floyd Numbers, I will tell you at what
price levels in the S&Ps and individual stocks
to expect the most powerful setups. We will go
over the scheduled times for the release of economic
numbers, if any. I will discuss what impact they
have on the markets and how a High-Velocity trader
might be able to trade off them. And if there
are any news events which might trigger volatility,
I will make sure that you are aware of them.
II.
Real-Time Trading
Then you will join me for live trading as we watch
the market opening together.
During the first hour, I will walk you through
any trades that might occur off the open. The
most common type of trade that I do during the
first 15 minutes is called Fading The Opening
Gap (FOTG). If you are not familiar with this
approach, I will teach it to you during our prearranged
weekly instructional sessions (see "Weekly Roundtable"
below for details).
Once the the market settles into its trading pattern,
you will hear me dissect the market action and
identify instances where I see trading opportunities
forming. These form the basis for my own trades.
As you watch the S&P futures action and the movement
within individual stocks that I am watching, you
will see how each piece of my strategy falls into
place one by one. In the minutes leading up to
a trade, as time permits, I will describe how
trend, momentum, patterns and big-picture analysis
all work together in order to make successful
trades happen.
In this way, you will not only gain valuable insights
on how to properly identify setups, but you will
also be ready to take action on your own as entry
opportunities materialize. These require split-second
timing, but through practice, you will be able
to perfect your ability to enter and exit at the
right times.
The length of time that we trade together each
day will depend upon market conditions. Generally,
our trading day will last no more than 4 hours.
However, most times you will find that I am done
within 2 hours.
III.
My Market Wrap-Up
Each day, when I am done trading, we will immediately
conduct a live Q&A session. During this time,
I will review the day's important market action.
I will tell you entries and exits for the most
interesting trades of the day. Then you will be
able to ask me questions so that I can help you
to further refine your skills as a trader. These
sessions will last 5 to 10 minutes.
IV.
The Floyd Numbers
Each evening you will have access to the next
day's Floyd Numbers. These are the price levels
in the S&P futures and individual stocks at which
the next day's most powerful trades may occur.
When you see setups forming at these levels the
next trading day, you will be prepared to take
advantage of them.
V.
The Weekly Roundtable
Once a week on Fridays, I will provide you and
all of the other members of my Trading Room with
a live interactive workshop that I call the Weekly
Roundtable.
During these workshops, I will break the key trades
of the week into steps. I will take you through
the trades bar-by-bar (and sometimes tick-by-tick).
I will show how I put the 8 High-Velocity Trading
Rules into action for each of these trades. You
will know how I interpreted market action in the
minutes preceding the trades, the point at which
I entered, and why and how I entered. And I will
show you where my exits were and explain the reasoning
behind them. We will cover both winning trades
and losing trades so that you can see the kind
of money management that is needed in order to
trade successfully. Plus, I will provide you with
in-depth teaching on variations of my strategy
I use such as Fading The Opening Gap (FOTG). Of
course, during this time you may ask me any questions
you wish about any concepts that may be unclear
to you so that you grasp the nuances of my trading
style.

for each new trading day. My list rarely changes and you
will be looking for the same setups to materialize in these
stocks over and over again each day.
Each
day you can start out knowing in advance where the most
powerful trades will potentially form. My service
will provide you with the Floyd Numbers each evening. These
are the price levels of the S&P futures and individual stocks
where trades of greater probability and explosive force
could potentially happen. Due to their strength, you may
want to increase your position size on these trades, as
I often do.
I
will help you to stay focused on where the greatest opportunities
are every day. Within our small universe of NYSE
stocks, I will tell you which ones exhibit the best correlation
to the movement in the S&P futures. At any given moment,
you will be able to focus on the stocks that are prime candidates
for the best trades.
Find
and enter trades that are triggered by the release of key
economic numbers. Often when economic numbers are
released, they trigger trades. In each morning's pre-market
briefing, I will tell you what time the numbers are to be
released and what my game plan for possibly trading them
will be.
Capture
excellent moves in the first 15 minutes of trading.
I show you how, by making only one adjustment to my standard
Trading Rules, you can trade powerful countertrend moves
that often occur within 15 minutes after the market gaps
open.
Learn
how to maximize the powerful multiple screens analysis.
