Red Mountain Research Company implements a three-prong investment strategy that advocates a fundamental approach that is rooted in the research styles of investment gurus like Warren Buffett, Benjamin Graham, and Peter Lynch.

The strategy employs Nobel Prize winning theories and uses individual equities to execute on that strategy.

Financial performance is stressed in favor of the more restrictive strategies used by traditional style "box generated" portfolios.

The Core strategy pits companies against their peer group from a financial perspective and ignores market cap, country of origin and value/growth inclinations.

We begin with a proprietary filter that screens companies for fundamental ratio analysis to determine risk and reward characteristics by making peer group comparisons.

Next, stocks are analyzed for price growth potential.

Finally, stocks are viewed from a technical perspective to determine precision entry and exit points.

Stocks receive scores between 0 - 100 from each of the fundamental, pricing and technical perspectives.

Stocks must achieve a minimum score of 50, both fundamentally and technically and must be at least 10% below a calculated target value to be considered for purchase.

Each score is weighted and the resulting total score must be greater than 70 to result in a "BUY" recommendation.

Colleen G. Helm is the President and Founder of Red Mountain Research Company.

With over 20 years experience Ms. Helm has had the opportunity to work for large and small brokerage firms and investment banks such as Kidder Peabody, The Prudential and The Fuji Bank, both in the U.S. and abroad. She has worked in brokerage, research and portfolio management capacities.

Ms. Helm taught investment theory and advanced investments through the United States Air Force and has been invited to speak to The State of Colorado Treasurers Association and Merrill Lynch. She has also participated in financial radio shows from California to Florida and has been quoted and published in financial journals and newspapers distributed nationwide. Her investment philosophy is one that has been developed over a period of years and is based in the logical theories of some of the most successful investors and financial scholars on and off Wall Street.
